I finished a couple of requested modifications.
- I added a list view of all events in the system when "Selecting Current Event". It will list all past events and let you choose one or will allow you to create a new one. (some of you have asked for this since first release)
- I added an amount paid to the entry dialog.
- There is a new report that lists payments and fees with a net owed. It runs in Handler/Owner/Call Name/ Stake sequence. It can be run by selecting Reports, Entry Listings, Payments.

In anticipation of my upcoming release of a new application, Field Event Entry, I had to make a change to the licensing software protecting Field Events. What this means is the next time you upgrade, I will have to send you a new registration number. No worries... Your data wont be lost. I just had to be able to license your free copy of the new system. Yep... FREE! If you purchased a copy of Field Events, I will give you a copy of Field Event Entry. Expected release is Summer 2008! Check out the webpage for details.

I had a request to add the Owner, Sire and Dam to the running order. I added a "Preference" option to include the additional information on either format of the running order. Also added a QOL field in the entry dialog and Left/Right style of running order. QOL will display if DNA/QOL is turned on in Preferences.

Fixed a couple minor bugs... Thanks E!
- The "Found In" window of the Entry maintenance dialog would show incorrect information if multiple dogs had the same Registration number. This occurs when the AKC Number is not know at the time of data entry and the field was just filled with bogus data to get past the editting.
- If a space was entered in the handler field after the "/" and before the second handler name, the second handler was compared using the leading space and therefore could have been braced with themself if they were also a primary handler.

New Feature added! In order to allow easy sharing of entry data among club members, I added a "Share" feature. Use Share, Export to create a file with the last entry detail for each dog in your system. A file called FEExport.csv will be created in the default directory. It you send that to a club member, and they have a licensed version of Field Events, they can place that file in the default directory and Share, Import them into their system.
This is a great feature is you have a transfer license.
If you are real good at Excel, you can use this feature to import entry detail from any other system.
It adds just the dog, owner, breeder and last handler data to the system under event number 0.
Note: This feature will only work with licensed copies of Field Events.

I added a couple reports that can be printed in order to reconcile entries. They are available from the new pull down menu under Reports, Entry Listings. There is a report sorted by Dog then Stake and a report sorted by Stake then Dog. Please note since there can be more then one dog named the same, I include the Registration number with the call name to make it unique.

Field Events has been updated with the following changes:
- I have add transfer licenses as an option. Your program MAY need to have the registration key re-entered. Email me if you need it.
- Additional editing of Call Name, Registration Number and Handler was added. These are REQUIRED for any entry accepted.
- Here is the one you have been asking for.... Changing an entry will only nuke the running order if the Call Name, Reg No, Sex, Handler or Bitch in Heat flag is modified. This was a major gut to the SQL internals so please report any issues that may come up with adding entries.
- Changed the button on the Entry form from Clear to Clear/Start New Dog

FIxed a bug with the running order generation when the last brace had a bye with a female and then a bitch in heat ended up as the B dog. The handler name was replaced with the B dog Call name.

The following modifications are included in the package uploaded today.
- Added a Qualifier report for hunting test qualifications. Running it creates a text file called qualifer.txt in the default directory for posting to webpages, etc...
- Modified the Placement dialog to allow the "Starter" count to be entered.
- I upgraded my copy protection software to allow more licensing options.

I added the following:
- Total Entry Count on the Event "Console"
- Individual Dog Count on the Event Console - This is a count of the actual registration numbers in order to get that magic AKC dog count.
- Added an option to print a Placement Report. It will print field trial placements after you have marked them. It also creates a text file in the default directory called placement.txt. This is for posting to mailing lists. I am working on doing the same for Hunting Tests. I also plan to move the Stake Starter Count to the placement input screen instead of the stake master screen.

I uploaded another build. It has two enhancments. One was necessary because the software is being tested at a National event.
- Added DNA# to Entry, both running order formats and to the Catalog. On the Catalog, it will only print if there is a DNA number entered. I will be making a Preference switch to include this on the running orders. For now it prints regardless.
- A switch has been added to the Entry form to designate that the female is in season. This will cause the bitches in heat to be taken out of the random draw until the very end. If there are more then one, they will be randomly paired after all others have been paired. Now, if a female ends up in the last brace of dogs NOT in heat, and it is a Bye brace, one of the bitches in heat will run with the last female. If the last brace is a male, it will run after. Note: Bitches in season are designated on the running order with the sex = F*i.s.

I added multiple minor fixes:
- Added better date editting for Start Date, End Date and Birthday
- Added warning message for multiple Bye braces and if an attempt to swap a bye brace is made.
- Fixed misc apostrophe errors in entry form
- Changed entry searches to first search with selected stake and reg no (or Call) then just search by reg no (or call)
I also included a csv file that is produced when the running order is printed. It resides in the C:\Program Files\Field Events subdirectory and is called judgelab.csv. There is also a Word mailmerge document called judgelab.doc. Print this document twice and create judges books from them.
